Talking Points Memo	Josh Marshall has been writting online for a long time. Over time he has expanded TPM to a real newsgathering organization. You remember news? It was before OJ led America on a slow speed chase and we were told that a hummer was an impeachable offense, but lying America into a war of choice wasn't. Josh and his team give you the news, and perspective. I still like the old TPM, but anyone going there should also try out the other TPM associated sites.
BuzzFlash	Remember when the paper of record used to say All the news that's fit to print? You remember, before Judy Miller used it to promote the Bush Agenda? Well, now you can have your own progressive news retreiver go out a few times a day and scan the many varied news outlets and blogs to get you the best information in headline form. Then you can pick and choose what you see that is interesting. A daily read, heck, even three or four times a day with refreshes.
My Left Nutmeg	A fantastic example of a progressive community at the state level. This blog was a key piece of the puzzle that helped remove DINO Joe Lieberman from the Democratic Party (and please, none of Joe's Independent Democrat BS. Joe lost the primary because a majority of CT Democrats wanted to be represented by a real progressive Democrat. If it weren't for a loophole in the law and support from the GOP corporate givers he would have been out of there.) Disclaimer: I am permitted to frontpage at the site and I do on occasion.
